Job: Nutrition Assistant (PT w/Benefits)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services department, performs a variety of simple, routine, unskilled tasks related to the preparation and serving of food; cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils; operates dishwashing equipment.

Skills and Abilities Required
• Food Service experience is preferred
• Able to understand English, both written and verbal
• Must be able to read and follow directions for dietary plans as set forth on tray cards

Education, Licenses and Training
• Must maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification or Serv Safe Certification
• Prefer a minimum of High School Graduate or GED
• Maintains a current BLS certification. (Required within 3 months of hire)
