On Thursday January 27th, 2022, BVCHD received a donation that came as a passthrough Visit Big Bear from Amwear USA Inc. Visit Big Bear received a donation totaling over 40 thousand dollars’ worth of hand sanitizer, hand sanitizer dispensers, bleach wipes, and other cleaning items needed to continue to fight the battle against COVID-19. These items are of great value to our organization as supply chain issues remain in effect, making obtaining necessary supplies often difficult. “These items will help us continue to provide the level of care that BVCHD is known for. It will help keep our facility clean and safe for patients during these interesting times.” said Steve Long, Purchasing Supervisor for BVCHD.
Andrew Chen, a spokesperson of Amwear USA Inc. said “It is an honor and privilege to give back to first responders in our local communities in a time of need. On behalf of Amwear USA Inc., thank you Bear Valley Community HealthCare Staff for your dedication during these challenging times.”
