Give the blood component patients need most!
This special LifeStream blood drive will offer double red cell, plasma, and platelet donations. Specialized equipment separates the selected blood component and returns the remaining components to the donor. Eligible double red donors give two units of red blood cells during one appointment. Platelets support patients facing cancer, serious injuries, and chronic illnesses. Plasma supports trauma, burn, cancer, and other critically ill patients.
LifeStream staff will help each donor select the donation type best suited to their blood type and eligibility. One appointment provides targeted support for patients throughout our community.
