Originally from Hemet, California, Dr. Wayment joined the BVCHD team in 2024. He earned his medical degree at the University of Queensland Medical School and later completed his residency at UHS SoCal GME Family Medicine Suite. Dr. Wayment completed his fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine with a focus on wound care at the University of California, San Diego Health.
Dr. Wayment is board certified in emergency medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Wayment enjoys skiing, mountain biking and diving. He has one fiancé and two pugs.
