A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Mr. Critel earned his master’s degree at California State University, Fullerton. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University College of Nursing.
Mr. Critel is certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Though he has called BVCHD home since 2005, Mr. Critel was born in York, Nebraska. When he was young, he lived on a 2,000-acre farm in Costa Rica where he had many cool pets, including baby pigs, squirrels, monkeys, horses and baby calves. In his spare time, Mr. Critel loves mountain biking, doing Ironman races, and spending time with his family. His kids range in age from 4 years to 18 years
